The WICD project is lead by a Steering Committee with industry and technical expertise provided by a wider Reference Panel.
The Steering Committee is responsible for the strategic direction of WICD, is chaired by Tom Mollenkopf (CEO, Australian Water Association), and is made up of representatives from the following organisations:
- Australian Water Association (AWA)
- Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA)
- Water Industry Operators Association (WIOA)
- Australian Services Union (ASU)
- Irrigation Australia (IA)
- International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM).
- Industry Representative -TBA (formerly Water Corporation)
- Government Skills Australia (GSA)
The WICD Reference Panel is a larger group of water industry representatives involved in the coordination or delivery of training and professional development. The Reference Panel is chaired by Wayne Morling (Water Corporation).
